The #1 Question We Get
How Does Driveline Work?
The foundation of all of Driveline programs is: Assess – Train – Retest. All of our work begins with an assessment (the best place to get this is in one of our 3 gym locations).
Assess
You'll have your skills and athleticism tested and compared against your peers, athletes at your next level, and MLB averages. This gives us a clear picture of who you are as an athlete right now.
From there, we sit down with you to learn about your goals — what you want to accomplish, both in your career and in the next 3–6 months. These short- and long-term goals are built directly into your training plan.
Your training plan covers:
- Your drill work
- Your lifting plan
- Technology to monitor your progress
- A knowledgeable coach who can help you hit your goals
But it won't work unless you put in the work.
Train
Each week you'll have a focused set of drills and a lifting program.
All the good stuff happens on the field — we want you prepared, with the right amount of work put in beforehand. Your training plan maps directly to your goals, with programmed drill work and strength/mobility work.
Our training app monitors your speeds, workloads, and lifting plan. Your coach can see what work you did that day, if any, so we can tailor our conversations around what's going well and what isn't.
This works whether you're at one of our gyms, back at-home, or on-campus.
Retest
Every 6 weeks, we check your progress. Did that training block achieve what we wanted? What's working? What isn't?
Progress isn't linear, and not everything works for every athlete. When you retest, you'll be able to see tangible gains and build a new plan for the next block of training.
It's also a good opportunity to make sure your training schedule still fits with team commitments or other activities — or to plan around an upcoming break.
Does Driveline Work?
It does. It’s a system that uses your personalized data to achieve results for yourself that you couldn’t on your own, powered by coaches who care. Don’t take our word for it. Hear it from athletes in their own words:
