Pratt’s final assessment showed an increase peak exit velocity of 1.9mph, +7.38 mph of average EV, +6% of barrel consistency, +11.28 average launch angle, +9.79 average launch angle of hard hit balls.
In 2020, Lars Nootbaar added four mph of bat speed. The gains resulted in a big league debut and key at-bats for the Cardinals down the stretch.
